# Basic Gameplay

#### What?

Double Jump is a fast and frenetic race-to-finish platform-royale game where players can compete with their friends or anyone across the world to win.

#### Where?

Our races take place on [levels](https://whitepaper.doublejump.wtf/gameplay/list-of-levels) that vary from a floating medieval castle to the jungle ruins of an ancient civilization. Each level is unique and contains colorful but tricky obstacles on top of fierce online opponents.

#### Why?

To show everyone what you're made of and WIN $JUMP!

#### How?

Our game only requires players to do **three** things: run, jump and hit your opponents.

Depending on the map, there are two victory conditions:

* Be the first to finish
* Be the last player standing

Don't be afraid to use shortcuts, and of course remember to double jump!
